Built in Harare, for schools down the road.
Most school software sold in Zimbabwe was designed for a school somewhere else, then translated. ZimSchool started from the Zimbabwean school year, the Zimbabwean fee cycle and the phone in a teacher's pocket.
A head teacher who is considering a system like this is really asking one question: if this goes wrong, who picks up the phone? It is a fair question, and it deserves a plain answer rather than a page of adjectives.
ZimSchool is made by Statotech Systems, a software company in Harare. It is not a reseller arrangement and there is no overseas parent — the people who write the code are in the same time zone as the school using it, and reachable in the same working day.
We are early. We would rather say that than imply a customer list we do not have. What we can offer instead is a product you can see working before you commit, an honest account of what it does not yet do, and a setup we do with you rather than hand to you.
Zimbabwean by design
Three terms, Forms 1–6, ZIMSEC-style report cards, EcoCash at the counter and fees in USD or ZWL. None of it is a setting we bolted onto a foreign template.
Built for the connection you have
Light pages, small payloads, and a register a teacher can mark through a patchy signal and sync when it returns. Data costs money here and the software should respect that.
One company you can phone
Statotech builds and maintains it. No ticket queue in another hemisphere, no partner to escalate through.
See it with your own school in mind.
Book a demo and we'll walk your fees, register and report cards on screen — then tell you honestly what setting up before next term would take.
No cost · No long contract · Built in Zimbabwe by Statotech.
